10:30-11:50 a.m.Choir Tune-UpHigh school singers from choirs in the metro area will have a collaborative session with the Inver Hills Community College Choir. They will learn about choral music and vocal techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with Inver Hills Community College singers, discover new music, and work with clinicians. The IHCC choir is excited to offer a choir tune-up for high school singers during their visit to the Fine Arts Festival in May 2025. Ensemble singing is one of the most formative experiences for singers of all ages, especially high school students, and we look forward to welcoming singers from the area. Kyung Ko  50
Session IUnderglaze Transfer Pattern Workshop Bring your own bisque fired cup to this workshop. I will demonstrate how to use transfer patterns on your cup and teach underglaze techniques to paint into to the patterns too. Take your mug back to your high school to glaze and finish. Session ISteel DrumThe sounds of the Caribbean, students will learn the basics of how to play the steelpan (AKA steel drum) both individually and in a steelband. Topics covered will included basic musicianship on the steelpan and aural/rote learning techniques. No musical or drumming experience is necessary!Andy MartinFA 175 15
